Workshop - Advanced Techniques

How to add different bells and whistles to create one of a kind art

Have you ever wanted to try something new?  Have you seen some of our over the top creative furniture pieces and wondered how we do it?  Have you wanted to use 3D decorations and multiple mediums on your furntiure or decor and not known where to start?  Then this workshop is for you.

Join Elaine and other creatives in Mount Evelyn VIC as we work through a range of techniques to achieve truly original techniques to use on furniture, decor or canvases.

At the end of this workshop, you will have learned the following techniques which all transfer to preparing and painting furniture and decor:

• Prepping your piece
• Painting your piece
• Application of various papers, mediums, 3D bits and pieces.
• Stenciling
• Layering
• Stripes
• Sealing your piece
• Finishing your piece
• Disguising boo-boos (oops)

We will have a variety of canvases, wood pieces, frames, and other projects to choose from.  There will be something for everyone.

This workshop runs for 3 hours from 12.45pm to 3.45 pm.  We ask that you arrive at 12.30pm to ensure we can start promptly at 12.45pm   At the end of your visit you will take away from this workshop a finished mixed media project of your choosing - designed and made by you.

What to bring:

• Make sure you wear your most comfortable painting clothes. 
• We'll take care of the rest.

Aprons and gloves will be supplied
