Workshop - Christmas Decorations Saturday 9th November 9.15am to 12.30pm

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

Do you love decorating at Christmas time?  Have you considered making your own decorations?

Look no further!  Join us in in the beautiful Yarra Valley as we kick of the festive season, with our own Christmas Signs.  (Samples shown are from Pinterest and only a sample of the designs you may make).

Learn how to prepare your piece, paint and decorate Christmas Style.  We may use stencils, create our own stripes, transfers, decoupage, serviettes and more.  Read below for more information including Terms and Conditions.

Elaine will walk you through each step, no prior experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm! IF there are any decorations you'd like to add to the top of your signs, please bring those along.

Our workshop is all about hands-on experience, ensuring you leave feeling confident and inspired to tackle your own projects at home.

At the end of this workshop, you will have learned the following techniques which all transfer to decorating furniture and decor:

• Preparing your piece
• Sandpapers
• Painting
• Transfers
• Stenciling
• Stripes
• Distressing/Antiquing
• Blending joins
• Sealing
• Finishing

Workshop runs for 3 hours from 9.30am to 12.30pm.  Please arrive at 9.15am so we can get to know each other and start promptly at 9.30am.  At the end of your visit you will take away from this workshop a new set of skills as well as a completed projects - designed and made by you.

What to bring:

• Make sure you wear your most comfortable painting clothes, we will supply the rest.  (Aprons will be supplied on the day)
