Join us in Healesville in the beautiful Yarra Valley to learn the building blocks of painting furniture.  Unleash your inner artist and learn the secrets to revamping tired old furniture into stunning statement pieces!

Elaine will walk you through each step, from prepping surfaces to mastering different painting techniques. No prior experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!

Our workshop is all about hands-on experience, ensuring you leave feeling confident and inspired to tackle your own projects at home.

By the end of this workshop, you will have learned the following techniques which will form the basis of all of your future painting projects:

• Prepping your piece
• Undercoats and stain blocking
• Painting including preventing brush strokes
• Sealing your piece

This workshop runs for 3 hours from 9.30am to 12.30pm.  We ask that you arrive at 9.20am to ensure we can start promptly at 9.30am.

What to bring:

• Make sure you wear your most comfortable painting clothes
• A small item of wooden furniture to paint.  Ideal pieces include, drawer, wooden serving tray, photo frames, small stool or small coffee table.  Something that is easy to carry and manoeuvre on a painting table.

Aprons and gloves will be supplied

Price includes: 3 hour workshop, materials to use on the day, mentorship, morning tea and drinks, a goodie bag to the value of $20.

At the end of your visit you will have learned how to prepare, paint and seal furniture, which you will then be able to apply to future projects.

We ask for 5 days notice for any cancellations, otherwise there will be a 50% cancellation fee.
